More of a thought/question than an idea: As you know, Fremont is not a town or village, we have an East Syracuse zip code, we're in the Town of Manlius, Minoa is our dedicated fire department - Fremont seems mixed among many "personalities", however, Fremont certainly has it's own identity - a distinct location, neighborhood, community feel/dynamics, etc. I would love Fremont to be "more on the map", with a distinct "place of it's own". E.Syr., Town of Manlius and Minoa have their own schools, parks, fire dept., town centers, festivals, community center, etc. What is Fremont considered within the Town of Manlius? How can Fremont develop it's own "personality"/community - yes, completely unified and part of the Town of Manlius, but with it's own distinct style/flavor/community base? A Neighborhood Association? A community center? What is the process for something like this to happen? Thank you in advance for your time and insight.
