It is winter. The snow is falling, and kids are playing outside in the snow.
But do they know that they could be in danger… of snowplows?
Yes, Kids may not know it, but building forts, playing and sledding by the road is very dangerous.
The Town of Manlius Highway Department has recognized this problem and is willing to give a free presentation
to your school, grou0p, or club in the Town of Manlius district, and talk about snowplow safety. Children will
get to see a real snowplow up close, and will also watch a video about snowplow safety. All their questions
about snowplows will be answered, and they may even get a chance to sit in the driver’s seat!
