Community support is the foundation of successful law enforcement, an essential ingredient in identifying problems in the making and in fostering cooperative efforts in resolving community issues.
The Town of Manlius Police Department involves itself with the community in a number of ways. Some examples of our community involvement include:

- Annual Community Satisfaction Survey conducted for the Department by the Syracuse University Community Link Program
- Customer Service Survey's providing feedback regarding an individual police response
- Senior Volunteer Program
- Participation at community events
