The Town of Manlius Police Department is the sponsor of Law Enforcement Explorer Post #906.
Law Enforcement Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women who have completed the eighth grade and are 14 years of age, or are 15 years of age but have not yet reached their 21st birthday.
The program helps youth to gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities. For young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of law enforcement, it offers experiential learning with lots of fun-filled, hands-on activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.
We are proud of the fact that many of our former explorers are now members of our Department or have gone on to work in various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 12:00 A.M., and Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. They are closed on legal holidays.
