The Town of Manlius Police Department strives to provide for the safe and
orderly flow of traffic through our area through the jurisdiction by
encouraging public compliance with traffic laws. When traffic violations are
observed, traffic accident patterns dictate, or citizen complaints are
received, it is the policy of the department to enforce the Vehicle and
Traffic Law in a fair and uniform manner.
Our Department maintains a traffic administration and enforcement effort that
includes the use of:
- Speed and traffic pattern survey devices
- Radar “Your Speed” trailers
- School Safety Zone enforcement
- Traffic safety and STOP DWI checkpoints
- Traffic site surveys
- Routine patrol
- Dedicated traffic patrol to include motorcycle unit
- STOP DWI Patrols
- Buckle Up New York (BUNY) and other granted special patrols
- Traffic safety and education
- Child Safety Seat Installation Assistance and Loans

enforcement efforts may contact the department at 682-2212. Please use the
