Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time to be on the Public Safety Advisory Committee. This committee is being formed by the Town of Manlius to address Governor Cuomo’s executive order 203: New York State Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative. This committee will meet at least once a month until April 2021. We will work together to gather community input identifying the services needed by our community, review police procedures and practices and present a plan of recommendations to the Town Board for public comment by the 2nd Town Board meeting in February 2021.

Depending on how many residents apply to be considered for the Public Safety Advisory Committee, we will be in contact with applicants by August 14, 2020. If this committee fills up, we will make sure to keep you up to date on public input opportunities and committee activity. Thank you.
