At the August 23rd, 2023 Town Board Meeting, the Manlius Town Board adopted a resolution establishing a special election to consider the creation of a ward system in response to a petition received on July 14th, 2023. The election will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at the Manlius Town Hall located at 301 Brooklea Dr. in Fayetteville, NY from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
The Board designated the Onondaga County Board of Election to administer the election. All currently registered voters within the Town of Manlius will be eligible to vote in the election.
A Board of Registration will be appointed to allow for absentee ballots to be requested and to allow residents who are not already registered to register to vote in the special election. The Board of Registration will convene on the following dates and times at the Manlius Town Hall:
Friday, September 8th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday, September 9th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Monday, September 11th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
